Jillian Charyn

My name is Jillian Charyn and I am a self-taught intuitive painter and mixed-media collage artist based out of Long Beach, NY.

In combination with my own original illustrations and paintings, I use photography scanned from vintage magazines to create bizarre visual narratives that borrow from aspects of traditional surrealism and futurism. 

​

My works aim to capture the essence of an inexplicable dream, a long lost memory and/or forgotten emotion. Through my work, I invite you and your subconscious on a rendezvous with déjà vu.
